Short Biography
Dr. Arifur Rahman graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from City Dental College under University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2004. His Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BM&DC) registration number is 2274. He obtained Master in Public Health (MPH) in Dental Public Health in 2009.
Dr. Arifur has attended several International Conferences and Training Hands on Workshop since 2009 and giving presentation covering all aspect of modern Dentistry. He has received advanced Endodontic training in South Korea in 2019 , He has received advanced training on Dental Implant, Crown - Bridge work & Complete Rehabilitation of Teeth from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan in 2023. In 2024 Dr. Arif introduce Dental Laser for the first time in Sylhet . He is a certified Laser Expert from Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD). In 2023 he passed the Part 1 & Part 2 of Foundation training in Dental Laser, in 2024 he passed the Part 3 of Foundation training and achieved the Laser Expert certificate by ALD. He is also a member of Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) , USA.
Dr. Arif is the founder Dental Unit Head of Northeast Medical College. As an Assistant Professor he served in Northeast University too. He is an Executive Member of Bangladesh Academy of Dentistry International (BADI) one of the leading and old Professional organization for Dentistry.
He is devoted to his General practice focusing on Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment and Endo Surgery) , Orthodontics, Laser Dentistry and Aesthetic Dentistry enhanced with latest Dental Equipment's in Holy Dental Care , Sylhet since 2005.
